My career doesn't fit a single box, and I like it that way. I started in oil and gas field operations, moved into pharmaceutical manufacturing under FDA oversight, then into water treatment chemistry and IT at Bio-Cide International — running their office infrastructure while also building IoT hardware I designed from the PCB up.

After Kemin Industries acquired Bio-Cide, I operated at the intersection of technical sales and engineering, managing distributor networks across poultry and dairy operations while continuing to develop and iterate on my own embedded systems.

I'm based between Oklahoma City and the Southern California / Mexicali corridor, with field experience across the country. When I'm not in the field or debugging firmware, I'm writing music, gaming, or building something with AI tooling and electronics.

EDIE

E2 — Custom PCB Driven ClO2 Generation System

EDIE is a ClO2 generation system with over 1,500 units deployed across the country. EDIE2 is the next generation controller I designed from scratch: a custom multi-layer PCB that adds real-time probe logging, ORP/pH/ClO2 sensing, pump control, onboard HMI, WiFi, and full IoT cloud connectivity — all in a package that is drop-in compatible with every existing EDIE unit in the field. One hardware upgrade, zero fleet disruption.

The system reads ClO2, ORP, and pH sensors via 4-20mA I/O, controls two dosing pumps and a flowmeter, displays real-time data on an onboard screen, hosts a local web server for on-site configuration, and pushes JSON telemetry to Cloudflare Workers for remote access by owners and operators.

It supports significant annual chemistry revenue. I designed the PCB, wrote all firmware and front-end web code, and built the fleet management and reporting dashboard. Throughout development I leveraged AI tooling — using LLMs for schematic review, firmware debugging, and documentation generation — compressing what would have been months of iteration into weeks.

Sales Application Engineer / Technical Sales Account Manager

Kemin Industries acquired Bio-Cide International in 2021, absorbing the product line, chemistry, and technical team. Post-acquisition, I transitioned into sales and product development full-time as Kemin had their own IT department. Served as in-house technical expert for all ClO2 application systems — pumps, PLCs, PCBs, and on-site chemistry generators across poultry and dairy operations. Traveled extensively to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues in the field, often as the last line of technical escalation. Provided technical sales support for accounts totaling over $10M in annual revenue. Led client demonstrations and closed sales with engineering leads, operations managers, and C-suite buyers. Designed PCB-based alternatives to PLC-driven systems for cost-effective deployment at scale.

Bio-Cide International

Technical Solutions Specialist

Built PLC, controller, and non-electric chemical delivery systems alongside the fabrication shop. Performed equipment installations and end-user training at customer sites across the country. Sole IT administrator: servers, workstations, networking, telephony, Office 365, and full employee onboarding/offboarding. Led ISO 9001 compliance audits and a digitalization project covering 15,000+ records spanning 10+ years. Coordinated on-site contractors for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Co-developed early EDIE hardware from prototype to production.

Owner / Operator — Self Employed

Operated an independent pool service and maintenance business. Customer acquisition, scheduling, chemical dosing, equipment repair, and account management — all self-managed. While the business was successful, the opportunity at Bio-Cide International became a priority for personal growth and long-term career advancement.
